Dialogue Hub CIC
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
On this page
Dialogue Hub CIC is committed to making dialoguehub.co.uk as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible.
Accessibility is central to our work. We want people with different access needs to be able to understand our programmes, navigate the website and contact us without unnecessary barriers.
1. Our accessibility aim
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as the benchmark for the website.
We are continuing to review and improve the website as content, media and functionality develop.
2. What we are working to make accessible
Our approach includes working towards:
clear page structure and meaningful headings
readable text and sufficient colour contrast
keyboard-accessible navigation and controls
descriptive link text
text alternatives for meaningful images where appropriate
captions, transcripts or equivalent alternatives for video content where needed
forms that are clearly labelled and usable with assistive technologies
responsive layouts that work across different screen sizes and zoom levels
avoiding unnecessary movement, autoplay sound and other features that may create barriers
3. Compliance status
Dialogue Hub CIC is working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We are not currently claiming that every page and element of the website has been independently verified as fully compliant.
A formal independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed. As the website is updated, we will continue to identify and address accessibility issues.
4. Known areas to review
Because the website includes photography, video, dynamic visual elements and third-party content, some elements may require ongoing accessibility review.
In particular, we will continue to check:
alternative text for new and existing images
captions or text alternatives for video content
keyboard operation of menus, lightboxes, sliders and other interactive elements
dynamic counters and visual effects so that important information is also available without relying on animation or JavaScript
colour contrast, focus states and text size across desktop and mobile layouts
third-party embeds or external services that may not be fully within our control
5. Alternative formats and support
If you need information from this website in a different format, or if a part of the website is difficult for you to use, please contact us.
We will do our best to provide the information in a suitable alternative format or find another way to support your enquiry.
6. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find an accessibility problem that is not listed here, or if you think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please tell us.
Email: info@dialoguehub.co.uk
It is helpful if you can tell us which page or feature caused the problem and what device, browser or assistive technology you were using, although you do not have to provide this information.
7. Technical information
Dialogue Hub CIC is responsible for the accessibility of dialoguehub.co.uk. We aim to use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our technical accessibility benchmark.
8. Preparation and review of this statement
This statement was prepared in September 2026 as part of the current website redevelopment.
It should be reviewed whenever there is a significant change to the website and, as a minimum, on a regular basis as part of our ongoing accessibility review.
