Dialogue Hub Community Interest Company invite all deaf and hearing-impaired persons who want to join our team in the international social and cultural inclusion project “Dialogue Cafe” in Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability (RDCS), UEL.
Venue: Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability (RDCS), 4-6 University Way, London, E16 2RD United Kingdom
Dialogue Café is a social inclusion project that was developed by Dialogue Hub CIC.
It is the idea of a coffee shop that blends the hearing impaired and their cultures with qualified coffee culture. Together with that, beyond being a café, it is a multi-purpose sharing, empathy, and social inclusion project.
One of the dreams of Dialogue Café for the ideal society is to break the prejudiced approach towards disabled people and to initiate a transformation of perception by emphasizing the existence of the individuals in the society in pleasant and alternative ways.

Requirements and Qualities
Registered deaf or hearing impaired.
18-35 years.
Living in Newham/East London.
General qualities: responsible, good presence,
autonomous, good at interaction and relation with the public, eager to engage in new challenges and new projects and good attitude towards teamwork.
Enthusiastic, eager to learn and develop!
We offer:
Position: Barista.
Work time: about 25 hours per week.
Type of contract*: fixed term, 12 months.
Salary*: London Living Wage and opportunities for professional and personal development.
